Documentaire : Jiboptère

Ceci est une partie du documentaire "Jiboptère" , un documentaire réalisé par des étudiantes en communication au cégep du Vieux-montréal. Malheureusement, il y a eu un problème lors de la prise de son (un jack 1/4 lousse) et donc, le son provient du micro interne de la caméra. Et c'est là que j'interviens. Sur ce projet j'ai fait la musique, la post-production/editing audio. Le fichier complet est d'une durée de 4m30 , voici la première minute environ.

Something new! So this is my cousin's project for university, a trailer for a horror movie that won't really exist. He asked me to put some music on the video but i ended up doing the entire audio post-production part. We recorded some voice-overs, some guitar and here is the result!

Du nouveau! Alors c'est le projet universitaire de mon cousin, un trailer pour un film d'horreur qui n'existera jamais. Il m'a demandé de mettre de la musique sur son video et j'ai fini par faire toute la post-prod audio. On a enregistré des ''voice-overs'' et un peu de guitare. Voici le résultat!

Lea's Night

So here it is. My final project in audio post-production. We get a video from NAD, add sound according to specific criteria and give it back to NAD so they can use it in film festivals.

Et Voila, mon projet final en post-production. On reçoit un video du NAD, on ajoute le son (selon les critères du NAD)et on renvoi le vidéo au NAD pour qu'ils l'envoient dans des festivals de films.

Dutch Nuggets demo

So i'm pretty much finishing up the mix for the Dutch Nuggets demo, a punk rock band from the southshore of Montreal. Once everything is finalized (and the duplications are made) the songs will be up on their myspace. The demos will also be available after shows.
I'll post again once the site is up with the songs to post the link directly in my links section.



Also, I'm currently working on a project that involves audio post-production for a friend of mine. If everything goes well, and permission is granted, the video will be up soon.

So i decided to post something kind of random, but hey doesn't really matter does it?
I was walking in the metro the other day, against traffic with my mp3 player when i looked up and felt kind of wierd. The song that was playing fit too well with what i saw. Just so many different people, rushed to get where they're going..and me trying to get through everyone to get where i had to go. Its a pretty epic song and i thought i would share this so that other people can try doing the same thing.It feels like you're in a movie or something.

Audio-Book

For a final project i had to create an audio book of a 5 to 10 minute duration. I decided to write the story, as well as the music (except obviously Eye of the Tiger which plays at the beginning).

Pour un projet final, je devais faire un radio-roman d'une durée de 5 à 10 minutes. J'ai décidé d'écrire l'histoire ainsi que la musique (excepté l'extrait de la chanson Eye of the Tiger qui joue au début).
